Hi HN, Rohit here from Tokenless (https://usetokenless。com/), which I’m building alongside co-founders Andrew and Kev。 We’re building an API gateway which routes agent traffic dynamically turn-by-turn between different models to save on AI spend
Biometric templates are vulnerable to theft if stored without protection. Unlike passwords, a compromised iris cannot be reissued. Although existing cancelable biometric schemes address this problem, most still require an external key or token, introducing an additional attack surface. This paper proposes a cancelable contralateral iris template protection scheme that eliminates the need for a separate token or stored secret, satisfying the three requirements of ISO/IEC 24745: irreversibility, unlinkability, and confidentiality. The method fuses three enrollment samples per eye using Majority Vote Fusion to produce a stable template, and applies a salt-based bit permutation derived from the subject's enrollment ID. Combining the left- and right-permuted templates via a bitwise XOR produces a single Protected Fused Template. Since left and right iris patterns are statistically independent, fusing contralateral irises improves the accuracy of the system. An attacker must possess both iris codes and both salts to recover any useful information, yielding a larger effective key space than single-iris schemes. Dying Sun-like stars may not fade away quietly。 As blobs of gas erupt unevenly from their swollen surfaces, each burst gives the star a tiny push in the opposite direction。 Thousands of these random kicks could eventually break apart distant stellar pairs or, in rare cases, drive two stars into a violent collision
A team of mathematicians used whimsical "silly sprinklers" to solve a physics mystery that has puzzled scientists for decades。 Their experiments showed that the rotation of both normal and reverse sprinklers is driven by the momentum of flowing water, not by the outside water flow or other long-standing theories。 The results finally provide a clear
NASA is preparing for future astronaut landings on the Moon with an unusually ambitious orbital rehearsal。 During Artemis III in 2027, Orion astronauts will rendezvous and dock separately with prototype lunar landers from Blue Origin and SpaceX, allowing crews and ground teams to test the complex maneuvers needed for later missions
Google's new API relies on parents to set age ranges in Family Link
MIT engineers have found a way to give chip-based lidar a wider, clearer view without relying on moving parts。 Their design uses differently shaped antennas that can sit close together without scrambling one another’s signals。 In tests, the system sharply reduced interference while steering a single precise beam across a broad field of view
The asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs was likely an exceptionally rare CO chondrite from a distant region of the solar system。 Its unusual chemistry suggests that planet-cooling dust and debris, rather than sulfur inside the asteroid, may have delivered the deadliest blow
A newly discovered turning point in the Sun’s 11-year cycle could allow scientists to predict future solar activity years earlier than before。 At this “switch-off” point, the most violent space weather abruptly ends, and the remaining number of sunspots offers clues about the next cycle’s strength。 Early projections suggest Solar Cycle 26 may be mo

A new AI-powered blood test could give people a remarkably early warning of serious heart and circulation problems。 Developed by researchers at the University of Hong Kong, CardiOmicScore analyzes thousands of proteins and metabolites to estimate the risk of six major cardiovascular diseases, including heart attack, stroke, heart failure, and atria
Scientists have uncovered new evidence that Venus may still be tearing itself apart from within。 Advanced 3D simulations indicate that some of the planet's giant rift valleys formed relatively recently and could still be expanding。 The results suggest Venus has a far more active interior than researchers once believed, challenging the long-held vie
Astronomers have found the first confirmed atmosphere around a rocky planet in another star’s habitable zone。 The planet, LHS 1140 b, revealed its atmosphere through helium slowly leaking into space。 Located 48 light-years away, the world may have preserved its atmosphere for billions of years, making it a promising target in the search for potenti
A giant planet had been hiding inside one of astronomy’s most closely studied planetary systems, concealed by a bright disk of cosmic dust。 Webb revealed Beta Pictoris d through atmospheric traces of carbon monoxide, water vapor, and methane, showcasing a promising new method for finding elusive exoplanets
