This volume contains the ten peer-reviewed papers presented at HLPP 2026, the 19th International Symposium on High-Level Parallel Programming and Applications, held on 9-10 July 2026 at the Institut Henri Poincare in Paris, France. The symposium covers high-level approaches to parallel programming: programming models, languages, libraries, algorithmic skeletons, compilers, and runtime systems for multi-core, GPU, and distributed platforms. The 2026 edition extended this scope towards artificial intelligence, with new topics on the parallel programming and performance of AI systems and on AI-assisted generation of parallel code, and opened with a dedicated session on parallelism and AI. Papers were selected through a single-blind review process, with three Program Committee reviews per submission, and appear in the order of the symposium program. Edited by Chong Li, Corinne Ancourt, and Gaetan Hains.
A collection of the accepted Findings papers that were presented at the 4th Machine Learning for Health symposium (ML4H 2024), which was held on December 15-16, 2024, in Vancouver, BC, Canada. ML4H 2024 invited high-quality submissions describing innovative research in a variety of health-related disciplines including healthcare, biomedicine, and public health. Works could be submitted to either the archival Proceedings track, or the non-archival Findings track. The Proceedings track targeted mature, cohesive works with technical sophistication and high-impact relevance to health. The Findings track promoted works that would spark new insights, collaborations, and discussions at ML4H. Both tracks were given the opportunity to share their work through the in-person poster session. All the manuscripts submitted to ML4H Symposium underwent a double-blind peer-review process.
The International Symposium on Computational Sensing (ISCS) brings together researchers from optical microscopy, electron microscopy, RADAR, astronomical imaging, biomedical imaging, remote sensing, and signal processing. With a particular focus on applications and demonstrators, the purpose of this symposium is to be a forum where researchers in computational sensing working in seemingly unrelated applications can learn, discover, and exchange on their new findings and challenges. This 3-day symposium in the heart of Europe features 6 keynotes speakers and is open to extended abstracts for scientific presentations and show-and-tell demonstrations.

The Nobel Foundation's Symposium programme was initiated in 1965 and since then over 160 symposia have taken place. With the Nobel symposium summarized in this proceedings volume, we had the ambition to cover the past, current and future developments of microfluidics; a highly challenging task as there are many excellent researchers in this area and only thirty slots in the program. We tried to cover the early breakthrough contributions to the field, important developments over the years and applications of microfluidics that now propagate in vastly different directions both as industrial components or processes and as tools and methods supporting fundamental research. To give the entire research community an opportunity to sample the science presented at the symposium we have compiled a symposium volume that reflects the major messages conveyed by our invited speakers. We are deeply grateful to the effort that our participants put into writing their lecture notes/abstracts.

A collection of the extended abstracts that were presented at the 2nd Machine Learning for Health symposium (ML4H 2022), which was held both virtually and in person on November 28, 2022, in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Machine Learning for Health (ML4H) is a longstanding venue for research into machine learning for health, including both theoretical works and applied works. ML4H 2022 featured two submission tracks: a proceedings track, which encompassed full-length submissions of technically mature and rigorous work, and an extended abstract track, which would accept less mature, but innovative research for discussion. All the manuscripts submitted to ML4H Symposium underwent a double-blind peer-review process. Extended abstracts included in this collection describe innovative machine learning research focused on relevant problems in health and biomedicine.

This volume contains the proceedings of the Ninth International Symposium on Games, Automata, Logic and Formal Verification (GandALF 2018). The symposium took place in Saarbrücken, Germany, from the 26th to the 28th of September 2018. The GandALF symposium was established by a group of Italian computer scientists interested in mathematical logic, automata theory, game theory, and their applications to the specification, design, and verification of complex systems. Its aim is to provide a forum where people from different areas, and possibly with different backgrounds, can fruitfully interact. GandALF has a truly international spirit, as witnessed by the composition of the program and steering committee and by the country distribution of the submitted papers.
