[Chinese expert consensus on the treatment of demyelinating optic neuritis with biologics (2026)].

Demyelinating optic neuritis (DON) is an autoimmune inflammatory demyelinating disease that affects the optic nerve. In recent years, with the rapid advancement of biotechnology, novel targeted biological agents have demonstrated unique advantages in the treatment of DON, and the number of approved targeted biologics for clinical use has gradually increased. However, the risks of infections and adverse effects caused by the long-term use of biologics cannot be ignored. How to use various biologics reasonably, effectively, and safely presents a new challenge that clinical physicians must address. The experts from the Neuro-ophthalmology Group of Ophthalmology Branch of Chinese Medical Association and the Neuro-ophthalmology Professional Committee of Chinese Research Hospital Association have summarized and analyzed the latest clinical research findings on biologics. Combining their clinical experience in Chinese patient populations, they have thoroughly discussed various aspects of using biologics for DON, such as indications, efficacy, infection risks, administration methods, special populations, and safety, reaching consensus opinions. The aim is to provide a theoretical basis and practical guidance for the standardized use of targeted biologics in the clinical treatment of DON in China. 脱髓鞘性视神经炎（DON）是一种累及视神经、与自身免疫反应相关的炎性脱髓鞘病变。近年随着生物技术飞速发展，新型靶向生物制剂在DON治疗中展现出独特优势，且获得批准用于临床的靶向生物制剂种类逐渐增多，而其长期应用的相关感染风险和不良反应不容忽视，如何合理、有效、安全使用各种靶向生物制剂治疗DON是临床医师必须应对的新挑战。中华医学会眼科学分会神经眼科学组联合中国研究型医院学会神经眼科专业委员会，总结和分析靶向生物制剂的最新临床研究结果，结合其在中国患者人群中的临床应用经验，针对靶向生物制剂治疗DON的适应证、疗效、感染风险、使用方法、特殊人群以及安全性等多方面进行充分讨论，达成共识性意见，以期为中国临床使用靶向生物制剂规范化治疗DON提供理论依据和实践指导。.
