The incidence of metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) has risen to alarming levels. This document presents the clinical practice guidelines from the African Middle East Association of Gastroenterology (AMAGE) related to the screening, diagnosis, and management of MAFLD.
