Invisible girls and boys, their rights to a healthy environment and a family environment in the Establecimiento Penitenciario de Mujeres Socabaya-Arequipa-Peru.

To analyze how the rights to a healthy environment and a family environment of invisible children are protected in the Socabaya-Arequipa-Peru Women's Prison. Data taken from the official documents in the following three prison records were used: the incident log, medical statistical report and the activity control book. The selection criteria were based on the availability, plausibility and official nature of the information in the documents. Qualitative analysis of the applied type and the designs of documentary analysis and grounded theory were selected for the method. The rights of invisible children to healthy conditions and a family environment are inadequately protected in the Socabaya-Arequipa-Peru Women's Prison. Lack of prison health services disrupt family relationships and negatively impact female inmates' rights. The lack of political will to guarantee rights to healthy conditions and a family environment is due to the fact that gender-based approaches, policies based on the protection of children's interests, greater transparency and access to public information have yet to be introduced in the prison healthcare milieu. Analizar cómo se protegen los derechos a un ambiente sano y un entorno familiar de las niñas/os invisibles en el Establecimiento Penitenciario de Mujeres Socabaya-Arequipa (E. P. de Mujeres-Arequipa) de Perú. Sobre los materiales, se utilizaron datos de los documentos oficiales consignados en los tres registros del centro penitenciario siguientes: el cuaderno de incidencias, el reporte estadístico médico y el libro de control de actividades. Los criterios de selección se basaron en la disponibilidad, verosimilitud y oficialidad de la información de los documentos. En cuan- to al método, se seleccionó el análisis cualitativo de tipo aplicado y los diseños de análisis documental y la teoría fundamentada. Los derechos a un ambiente sano y un entorno familiar de las niñas y los niños invisibles se protegen de manera inadecuada en el E. P. de Mujeres Socabaya-Arequipa-Perú, resquebrajando las relaciones familiares y el derecho de las mujeres internas por no contar con suficientes servicios de salud penitenciaria. La falta de voluntad política para garantizar los derechos a un ambiente sano y un entorno familiar se debe a que todavía no se han introducido los enfoques de género, el interés superior del menor y la transparencia y el acceso a la información pública en el tratamiento penitenciario.
